I usually use PuTTY to log in to my account, but some of the control keys don't work correctly. Is there a standard way to set up PuTTY and Debian on Rimu so that home/end and pgup/pgdn work correctly?

I figured it out, thanks to this: http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2003/03/msg00940.html
Here's what to do in PuTTY:
- Under Connection/Terminal-type string replace "xterm" with "linux"
- Under Terminal/Keyboard: The Home and End keys: Standard; The Function keys and keypad: ESC[n~
