For those of you who host websites on your Rimuhosting server , you might be interested in a free WYSIWYG web editor I have released publically. This is for traditional websites (not database-based CMS). However, it is able to work with SSI-included content, which gives some of the flexibility of CMS.
It installs on the server, and runs in any major browser (no client-side software installation needed).
You can edit/create complete websites. Uses the well-known open source javascript WYSIWYG FCKeditor (http://www.fckeditor.net) as backend.
The web editor has a lot of cool features, yet is very easy to use for anyone accustomed to using word processors like OpenOffice or MS Word. You can open and edit your website from any computer running an Internet browser program. Tested in Mozilla, Firefox, and MS Internet Explorer. (Doesn't work in Opera under Linux.)
I put up a website (http://voluntary-simplicity.org/linux/lgswebedit) on it, and there's a live demo (http://webeditdemo.voluntary-simplicity.org).
Move over, NVU and Dreamweaver! 100% developed on Rimuhosting VPS!
(Please, if you have tried this webpage editor, leave a comment or send me a message (http://forums.rimuhosting.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=1241).)
