Hi,
I wonder if someone knows how to setup squirrelmail/IMAP to login with e-mail address and not the actual username. Also I wonder what plugin can be used for different domains in order to pop in "@domain.com" into Username field.
Thanks

Visit http://www.squirrelmail.org and look at the plugins page. There's a plugin (vlog or vadmin or something) that allows you to use SM with virtual domains and you can have users log in using user@domain.com, or even make SM look like it's part of their web, i.e. http://virtualdomain.com/webmail.

Thanks vm for your reply! Actualy, I have migrated to qmail from Sendmail and it looks like now I do not have a problem with Squirrelmail as it takes e-mail as a usename. I have tried vlogin plugin, but it did not work out for me - user could not login with either username or e-mail. Now everything looks ok.
I have to admit - I was surprised by Squirrelmail plugins features. One can have ab e-mail client fully customized!
