Has anyone tried, or does anyone have any info that might be helpful, on upgrading woody to sarge at Rimu? I am keeping current with apt-get upgrade, but in the future would like to migrate to Sarge as it stabilizes.

I think Rimu will introduce sarge as soon as it becomes stable! No need to think about what's gonna happen

Upgrading to Sarge/testing usually isn't much of a problem (I run Sid/unstable on both of mine). You might want to do a Google for any problems related to upgrading the packages you rely on. Going to unstable is not recommended, as things often break (there was a broken sed package a few weeks back, for example).

First off, download and run this script: http://downloads.rimuhosting.com/debiantls.sh

It fixes the problems between the TLS libraries and UML. It adds a divert so that when you apt-get upgrade anything to do with those libraries, they don't get put back into /lib where they can cause problems.

Once you've run that script, you should just be able to upgrade to testing like you normally would.
